Finally made the video for “Rainbows”

On August 23rd, 2024, after 5 years of preparation, I was finally able to record the music video for my upcoming album, “Rainbows”. This album was created over a span of about five years, especially during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, which began in 2020. For years, I was active in various bands, but despite all my efforts, I never had the opportunity to release an album of my own. Just before the pandemic hit, I had started my PhD and also founded a company – a company that was heavily affected by COVID-19.
All my life, I wanted to prove that I could achieve something. When the company began to falter due to the pandemic, I found it incredibly difficult to cope. After losing almost all of my money, I moved back to my parents‘ house in Schliersee in the Bavarian Alps with barely 60 Euros in my account. My old childhood room was occupied, but it was still there as a retreat. For that, I am forever grateful.
During this tough phase, I worked three different jobs, often from early morning to late night, without significant breaks and little social contact. As an expression and processing of my emotions, I began to work intensively on this album. The title “Rainbows” symbolically stands for the idea that with enough faith, not only can mountains be moved, but also “rainbows can be pulled down from the sky”.

The album will come out late 2024 or early 2025, and all information on it will be on my music website. For the video, I was inspired and challenged by the famous Cercle Videos, and aimed to produce something in that direction, which turned out to be extremely challenging, and I’d do so many things different. However, the video is now in editing. I’m beyond excited to see whether we did at least a somewhat good job.
